CodeWerm.

Hi, I'm Mike.

I build apps for iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch, usually starting with something I wished existed.

About Me

I'm an indie developer who loves building apps that feel useful, thoughtful, and easy to use. I've been at it since the early days of the App Store, and spent 6 years at Apple. I started making apps out of personal need, and over time it became a way to explore ideas and solve everyday problems through design and code.

At Apple on the Research app I built features for iPhone, and built its Apple Watch app. On Shortcuts I designed and implemented the public APIs for App Intents, the framework developers use to make their own apps work with Siri and Shortcuts. I built and debugged features for the Shortcuts app across every Apple platform, and even worked to launch Shortcuts on Vision Pro. Alongside that I was our security lead, reviewing new features for risk and fixing over a hundred vulnerabilities.

Most of my projects come from things I wish existed, and I build them with the hope that others will find them helpful too. I enjoy the creative freedom that comes with being independent.
