Your alarms, schedules, and history stay on your device. The same goes for anything the app reads with your permission. We use anonymous usage analytics to improve the app, which you can switch off in the app's settings, and we never sell it or share it with advertisers.
About this policy
This policy applies to the Alarm Hero app for iPhone, developed by CodeWerm LLC ("we", "us"). It covers what the app accesses, how that is used, and the choices you have. By using Alarm Hero, you agree to the practices described here.
Anonymous usage analytics
Alarm Hero collects anonymous, aggregate usage analytics so we can see which features get used and what to improve next.
They are never tied to your identity, and they never include personal content such as the labels on your alarms. Analytics are processed on our behalf by PostHog.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your choices
Analytics are yours to switch off: open Settings inside the app, tap General Settings, and turn off "Share Usage Data." Nothing is sent from then on.
Beyond the alarm itself, every permission is optional. Alarm Hero asks for one, such as Health, Camera, or Calendar, only when you switch on the feature that needs it, and each can be granted or revoked at any time in the iOS Settings app. Whatever a feature reads is used on your device as you use it. None of that is collected, uploaded, stored by us, or shared with anyone. Health data is read only, and nothing is ever written back to Apple Health.
Deleting the app removes the alarms, schedules, and history stored on your device.
Purchases and subscriptions
Alarm Hero offers optional in-app purchases. Apple handles all payments and subscriptions through the App Store, under Apple's own privacy policy. We never receive or store your payment card details.
Children's privacy
Alarm Hero is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Updates and questions
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date below, and continued use of the app means you accept the revised policy.
